Perez Hilton: Gossip Queen or Gossip Gangster?

We all gossip. Its just what teenagers generally tend to do. But the point is, when is gossiping going just a bit too far?
That is what Perez Hilton has done through his hugely successful website: www.perezhilton.com. Perez makes it his job to report to us on some of the going-ons in the celebrity world.
That’s all fine, we get that from tabloids too.
But Perez goes a little too far.
While the truth is that very few people support certain celebrities, Perez has gone far enough to publicly call them degrading names. For example he calls Miley Cyrus – especially after all of her photo and video scandals – ‘Slutty Cyrus’.
Sure, many people may agree with what he says, it’s still degrading to publicly report her as that in almost everything he writes that even slightly involves her. It’s like People magazine gone wrong.
Not only that, he draws penises and cum stains all over certain people’s pictures, including Ashlee Simpson, Miley Cyrus, etc.
Gossip can harm, and while some of it may be real, sometimes, going just that little extra stretch can just be going too far.
And that is what Perez Hilton has done; rightfully earning him his self-declared title of Gossip Gangster.
