Winehouse Claims She Is Too Short To Have Hit Fan

Amy Winehouse has claimed that she was too short to hit a taller fan in the face. Winehouse, who is about 5'3", claims that she is too short to have punched Sherene Flash, who is 5'7", in the face after Flash asked to take Winehouse's picture after a charity ball.
"My hair does make a difference", said the singer, who was wearing her signature beehive hairstyle in court.
Winehouse has also said that she was not wearing high heels that night.
"These are really flat. They don't even have a sole", Winehouse said. She has denied punching the fan in the face, saying that all she did was try to shove the fan's arm off of her when Flash tried to put her arm around Winehouse for a photo.
"I pushed her up, like away. I wanted her away from me", Winehouse said. "It was more like an indication of 'leave me alone, I'm scared of you.'"
Prosecutor Lyall Thompson said the alleged assault was "a deliberate assault by Miss Winehouse". Thompson has also said that Winehouse was under the influence of alchohol or another substance when she punched Flash and that Winehouse had agreed to the photo but when a drunken friend of Flash's tried to get into the picture, it could have angered her.
The court was played a recording of Flash's call to police after the alleged attack on her. When the operator asked who had assaulted her, she responded "Amy Winehouse of all (curse) people."
