An Anna Sui Model
2008 has been a very eventful year for fashion, (so far.) Grunge-Spawn Frances-Bean Cobain is now modeling for CHANEL, not taking the music road as many expected.
So, CHANEL. What's in store for CHANEL this season?
The "Cruise 2008/9" fashion show brought dark, button-up vests, with black pants.
But don't let the dark colours make you believe it is all dressy and classy. The collars of many shirts were adorned with feather, and the black pants were very shiny, sleek, and 80's-meets-death metal-meets-class. The Ready-To-Wear CHANEL line brought black track-suits, white hippie-yet-dress up suits, and big, black, hats!
The Anna Sui Fall 2008 line has brought something a little different: Colour. Anna's models have beachy, blonde waves, choppy hair, tres chic, yet messy. Her clothing line is very boho this fall. Eclectic prints, red vests, blue leggings, and blue suede boots were a mega trend on this runway. Russian-Polish prints appear, as well. Hippie Chic, such as Flowers in hair, and beaded bracelets seemed to morph into an Indian vibe.
Louis Vuitton's show was very neutral. It contained suede tan's, dark browns, and cream-ish.
Once again, this show carried vests, though less of them than Anna, or CHANEL. These embellished with fur. (Hopefully faux!!)
