Gym Class Heroes Frontman Involved in Onstage Brawl Travis McCoy

As the Vans Warped Tour bands travel across the States doing shows, there is always going to be some sort of commotion in the process.

Earlier this week, in St. Louis, MO, Gym Class Heroes frontman, Travis McCoy, was involved in a fight on stage caused by a rude fan. A fan yelled to McCoy using rude racial slurs immeadiatly catching McCoy's attention. McCoy invited the fan onto the stage, even helping him up only to call him out in front of the audience, not to fight.

As the frontman helped him on stage the "fan" kicked McCoy in the knee, spraining it. McCoy then defended himself starting a small brawl on stage. The singer is now wearing a knee brace and will continue to perform for the band's scheduled dates.

Gym Class Heroes' Manager, Bob McLynn for Crush Management sent out a release stating: "The whole incident is unfortunate. Travis McCoy and Gym Class heroes are anything but violent. Their message is about racial unity and having a good time. It's amazing that there are still people out there that would still say such ignorant things".

This just shows that everyone should be respectful to everyone. If you do not like their music, then simply go to another stage. Violence is never the answer, especially racial comments.
