Miley Covers John Lennon's 'Imagine'

Teen superstar Miley Cyrus recorded a cover of John Lennon’s legendary peace anthem ‘Imagine’. She got help from her co-star in Hannah Montana, Emily Osment with whom she recorded the duet. They bonded on the set of the film, Hannah Montana: The Movie, through their love of the late Beatles-legend.
16 year old Miley tells Moviefone.com, “I’m just a huge John Lennon fan. I studied him in school, and I just watched the movie Chapter 27 [about the murder on Lennon]. We did a duet of Imagine, in the studio.”
Cyrus says her fans shouldn’t be surprised by her eclectic musical taste.
“I don’t think the music you produce has to be the music you listen to. I like singing pop music, and I love to act, sing and dance. And you can’t really dance a lot to rock ‘n roll. You can move, but it’s not really like dancing. I like Nirvana. I really like Radiohead. I really love The Beatles. Just because I sing pop music doesn’t mean I don’t like rock ‘n roll. I like Elvis a lot.”
Although it’s not sure whether the Cyrus-Osment version of Imagine will see the light of day.
