Paramore Canceled European Tour

Paramore Canceled European Tour Paramore

Many Paramore fans have been wondering if the band is going to call it quits since they canceled the rest of their European tour. Hayley Williams, the lead singer, posted a blog.

Hayley posted the blog on February 21st. She announced that the band would be canceling the tour without giving a solid reason as to why they did.

"There are a lot of internal issues that have been going on in this band for quite a while now. A lot of it started right around the time we were gearing up for the RIOT Tour in the US. We were able to fight through all of it for this long but unfortunately we weren’t able to keep it together long enough to make it through ’til the end of this tour. We really feel that taking this time is going to give us a chance to get away and work out our personal issues at home and on our own terms. We just aren’t willing to risk the life of our band over one tour". The singer stated in her blog.

"Maybe one day we will tell the whole story but for now, just know that all five of us are going to work so hard to get it right". The band may or may not explain the whole story one day.

The band is made of four musicians. Hayley Williams, the lead singer of the band. Josh Farro, the lead guitarist, Jeremy Davis, bass player, and last but certainly not least Zac Farro, drummer for the alternative rock band.

The blog was signed by all four members and their touring guitarist Taylor York, perhaps in an attempt to seem unified as a whole. The post caused a frenzy of comments on Paramore.net.

Rumors of problems within the band members started up when Josh expressed his anger about the media focusing on Hayley and not the rest of the band saying, "We are a team. We are a band. It's not just Hayley - it's not her band. Just because she's the lead singer doesn't mean she's the only one involved".

He shot down any rumors when he expressed that "We are a team".

Their record label was asked if the band was going to break up anytime soon and responding with a detailed schedule for the band. "The band will be shooting a video for 'That's What You Get' in Nashville on March 2 and 3 with director Marcos Siega, then will embark on a co-headlining tour with their heroes, Jimmy Eat World, beginning on April 1 in San Antonio".
