Bear Attacks Shock North America

Bear Attacks Shock North America Grizzy Bear

There has been a recent string of bear attacks in Canada's western provinces. The attacks have many North Americas, mostly around the Rocky Mountains quite scared. As we develop more of the forested area in western Canada and the United States these attacks will only increase.

A few days ago a man in Cadomin, Alberta, Canada was attacked by a Grizzly Bear while hiking in the forest. The RCMP said that he hadn't spotted the bear nearby while he was hiking and the attack caught him completely off guard. The man did survive the attack.

The man was taken to the hospital in Hinton Alberta. He was in serious but stable condition. He had numerous deep cuts in his right leg. The man who was attacked by the grizzly's name was not released on his request. Alberta wildlife officials are investigating the incident.

Another incident of a bear attack happened earlier this month. In British Columbia, Canada, a woman was attacked in her front yard by a Black Bear. Neighbours threw rocks at the bear but it wouldn't let go until a bystander drove their SUV into it. She suffered from serious wounds and was taken to hospital were she has recovered.

The black bear involved in the British Columbia attack was later shot by the police. Around the same time another black bear broke into a house also in British Columbia to find food. The bear that broke into the house was also put down by police.

This batch of bear attacks in western North America goes to show how humans are adversely affected the bears ways of life. The bears whose environment is slowly disappearing forcing them to find other sources of food and other places to live. So it's hardly surprising that they have been forced to steal food from people to survive. As time goes on this problem while only get worse if nothing happens to change the current situation.
